its been awhile since i've blogged and i dont even know if anyone's still reading it.
Anyways i wanted to talk about imagination and ideas. Really cool.
I just watched Night At The Museum 2 and must i say it was rather average.
I'm sorry to those who loved the movie but i thought it was average and the jokes were overused. The story was just..... senseless. Sorry.
But i do love one thing. I love the idea. The core concept of things coming to life and clashes of history. That's nice. Clashes of history. There is a video game similar to that and god i love that game. Name's Dynasty Warriors. It's repetitive but seeing your people in history to dress up in traditional+modern costumes (which obviously the real one's dont wear) is nice.
Here's a little info on her. Though supposedly a fictional character and dont have that much historical involvement. I don't care. I just wanna show her dress ;p
Diao Chan was one of the Four Beauties of ancient China. She was said to have been born in 161 or 169 AD, depending on the source. However, unlike the other three beauties, she does not appear in any known historical writings, and is quite possibly a fictional character.
So then there's this other game that is based on Japanese history (owh the above mentioned was based on chinese). It's called Samurai Warriors. Then the company decided to put both of the games into one game with one of their own story. Granted the story sucks but the idea of history to clash is something i liked.
Pixar.
Always loved their movies. I watched every single one of them. I love how the story flowed and the concept is always nice. A Toy Story, Monster Inc, Wall-E, Ratatouie to name a few. The idea is really mind blowing.... well to me anyways.
I like 3D animation movie over actual ones. First thing is that i dont need to look at their acting ;p. Furthermore, it's fantasy. So anything can come and go. Nice. There's always a little limitation in actual acting but with technology these days they can go rather far. So for the up and coming movie "Monster VS Aliens", i just really liked the concept. Things people fear vs things people fear. There's always Monster movies. Then there's Alien movies. Then they just brilliantly thought of like "why not mash them both up together?!". Do note that i haven't watched the movie. I just loved the concept and i wanted to point it out ;p
So Rebecca said cartoons are for kids.... or something between those lines and i'm seriously offended D: OFFENDED!!! YEAH I PURPOSELY DID THAT!!!
Cartoons. Yeah sure most of them are targetted for kids but that doesn't mean adults can't watch them right? I'm sure a lot of people watched Spongebob. I like the idea, its such a lol. Water in a water. Makes no sense whatsover.
Haha, i would really like to have this toy.
I know i should've done it but i did. During exam (i don't remembered which) i just got carried away and drew on the extra test pad given. I drew Inspector Gadget, my style of drawing (anime-ish). I drew it because the day before I watched the show on Disney Channel cause i was bored.
It looked pretty great till Zhao smudged it. It was a rather big WTF to me because i liked the drawing. (Your name appeared twice Zhao! make it Thrice in my blog! wtf! D;)
Then i talked to Sylvia and Carmen about it. I dont know why i suddenly rememberd all this old stuffs we used to watch. I love Inspector Gadget's core idea. Actually i love Inspector Gadget. I'm sorry for sounding like a kid or something but i really do. A robot detective. Simple but so much can derive from it.
Robocop, and Back to the Future, Inspector Gadget, Dennis the Menace, Transformers blablabla. And yes Transformer is first a cartoon.
Therefore you have no goddamn right to say cartoons is for kids because then youre gonna say Transformers 2 : Revenge of the-i-dont-care-whatever-the-title-is is for for kids too when its not. And no, using "its a remake of a sort lar dammit" or "its rather adult" or "megan fox is inside" does not make a good excuse.
Flightless Bird, American Mouth - Iron & Wine
I love this song. Awesome song. But when i heard its in Twilight i went "owh god" but i don't know why. =.=
And so just you guys know. The quote for Spiderman "with great powers, comes great responsibility" is actually from the narator. Yes, originally the narator said it. Not Peter Parker or his dying gramps. The narator. I don't know why but i feel like i must tell you guys. @_@
